Ihre Aufgaben

  • Responsibility for the entire sales organization and commercial performance in territory. This is principally across the Retail and Banking segments.
  • This leader will be responsible for sales both to existing accounts and new logo clients. In the former, the requirement is to bring a broader range of Sesami’s portfolio of offerings into the client (to date, many customers are only using 1 or 2 of the solutions, meaning big opportunities for upsell). Scandinavia is an established market for Sesami with high penetration.
  • Given Sesami has grown by acquisition and has a diverse set of offerings, part of this role will be to help educate and mentor the sales organizations to ensure they are able to bring the full force of the portfolio to market and sell as many different solutions to as many different customers as possible. Whilst this is predominantly a product-sell, it requires big-picture thinking and a strategic solution selling approach- this individual will be responsible for embedding this mentality into the salesforce.

Ihr Profil

  • Multiyear background in sales and sales leadership within either the Banking or Retail sector, with a proven track record of driving substantial and sustainable growth.
  • Ability to operate in an international matrix and manage diverse teams, demonstrating capability to grow, retain and develop people whilst inspiring them and creating loyalty. Ability to act as a coach and mentor to drive new behaviors and sales style.
  • Strong sector and market content: must understand the local nuances around challenges and opportunities facing clients in the Retail or Banking sector in Scandinavia and the Baltics.
  • Solution-led sales approach; able to bring together a diverse set of offerings and create a holistic solution that addresses client business needs. Will have either managed a services sales organization (e.g., within an SI) or demonstrated ability to manage a complex, value-led sales process within a software vendor.
  • Must understand how to be successful within a channel-sales model; how to build lasting and fruitful relationships with existing partners as well as identify new potential partners and bring them on board.
  • Able to operate as part of a fluid matrix and influence without direct authority where needed. Brings disruptive thinking and fresh perspective vs. managing status quo. Experience working on multidisciplinary assignments in a complex environment would be a major benefit.
  • Excellent first degree from tier 1 university; fluent English (spoken/written) with additional languages useful. Comfortable with extensive travel.
